How to change your Novell password in Windows?

To reset your Novell password, please do the following:

1. Log into Novell with your current or temporary password.

2. Right click on the little red N at the bottom right-hand side of your screen.

3. Click on the User Administration for UWINDSOR option.

4. Choose the Novell Password Administration option.

5. In the User Password Administration pop-up window, click on the Change Password button.

6. Under Resource in the left-hand pane, highlight the little tree symbol with the wording UWINDSOR only. (It is important not to have the computer symbol highlighted.)

7. Put in your current or temporary Novell password provided to you in the Old Password: field.

8. Create a new password and type it in the New Password: field and retype it in the Confirm New Password: field.

9. Click on the OK button to set the new Novell password.

Important Note: Once you have set the Novell password, it will no longer be synchronized with your Windows password; you will have two different passwords to log into your computer - Novell and Windows. If you want them to be synchronized, you will need to know your "old" Windows password to change it to match the Novell password you just set.

You can change the Windows password by holding down the CTRL-ALT-DEL keys altogether, then from the menu, selecting the option to change a password. TIP: Make sure you are changing your Windows password and not your Novell password.
