How do I scan using a Xerox Multifunction Device?

Summary

The refreshed Xerox Multifunction Device (MFD) includes PaperCut, a print management software that adds new functionality to scan documents to an email and your OneDrive.

Body

On the MFD, tap your UwinCARD or sign in with your UWinID and UWin account password. 

  1. Select Scan 
  2. Prepare your document(s) by placing it on the glass or loading it into the feeder on top of the MFD.  
  3. Select how you want the scan to be delivered. 

If you select Scan to My Email, you will receive the pdf in your inbox. 

If you select Scan to OneDrive, and this is the first time you have used this option, you will receive an email requesting authorization for your OneDrive. Agree to the authorization.  

You can also Scan to Someone Else and the recipient will receive the PDF in their inbox.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PaperCut will let you know if the authorization was successful and upload the PDF.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You will receive an email letting you know how to access your PDF.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your scanned documents will be stored in your OneDrive in the Apps/Scans for PaperCut MF folder.
