How to Edit a Payroll Timecard in UWinsite People (For Managers)

At times, an approved timecard needs to be edited. Follow the steps to complete the task. 

In your browser, go to UWinsite People page. Complete your single sign-on in UWinsite People using your full UWinID@uwindsor.ca as your username and your UWin Account password. Then:

  1. In My Team, navigate to Quick Actions menu and select Team Timecards.

  1. On this page, you can see the available timecards for the current pay period (by default). You can customize using the filters (select or enter the appropriate selection for each after clicking on them): Date Range (remember to use the X if you wish to unselect the current default range), Relative Range, Reports, Status, Exception, Job, Location, Department, and Filters (for further filter options); and/or use the Search Bar to find the timecards you are looking for.

  1. Select the appropriate Timecard by using the checklist option next to the same and use the Actions drop down menu to above to proceed with the desired options: View (for additional details), Edit (to change any details), Approve, Submit, Reject, and/or Print

  1. If you select Edit and have updated the desired Start or Stop Time cell value in the table, be sure to click on Submit and you will be navigated back to the Team Timecard page. (Note: You can use the scroll bar below to navigate to the second week. To insert a row on a timecard, you can simply right click on the timecard and can select an option to add or remove a row as needed.) 
  2. Now you can approve the edits you made to the timecard by using the Approve option from the Actions drop-down menu.
