View the Enrolments and Withdrawals in Your Brightspace Course Site

At the start of every term, students are changing their course enrollments and may withdraw from your course. Those students who withdraw from your course will display a VW (for Voluntary Withdrawal) when you submit grades on UWinsite Student. Unfortunately, you will not be able to see the "VW" indicators while viewing the classlist in UWinSite before then. These steps will help you find the students who are enrolled and who have withdrawn from your course.

1. In the course site, click Course Tools on the Nav Bar. 

2. Select Classlist from the drop-down menu. If you do not see Classlist in the drop-down menu, click Course Admin and you will find it in the menu options page.

 

3. Everyone who is currently enrolled in the course site will appear on the Classlist page. You can search for a specific user by typing the name, username, or ID in the search box and clicking the “Search” icon.

 

4. To view the withdrawals, click Enrolment Statistics from the page menu options, on the Classlist page.

 

5. Scroll down past the Enrolment Statistics to the Withdrawals section. This table will contain the names and dates of those (if any) who have been removed from the course site.
