Maple is math software that combines the world’s most powerful math engine with an interface that makes it extremely easy to analyze, explore, visualize, and solve mathematical problems.

The University of Windsor has moved from a Campus Site license to a Floating User license model where anyone who wants to run Maple will be configuring the installation to contact the license server when running Maple.

Maple 2026 System Requirements

INSTALL MAPLE ON THE CLIENT MACHINE

 

  1. During the installation choose the Network installation.
  2. During the activation input your server name and port number.  The server name is license04.uwindsor.ca and the port number is 27000.

    A “license.dat” file will be created and the default location is //home/$USER/maple2026/license/license.dat
  3. Test Maple 2026 on the client machine.
