Passwordless Phone Sign-in allows users to access MFA protected resources without entering a password, using the app.

How it works:

• Enter your username only
• Approve sign-in via Authenticator (push + biometric/PIN)

Key benefit:

• Eliminates password use entirely
• Reduces phishing risk

Best for:

• Users with access to sensitive data that cannot use passkey

NOTE: This authentication method is not phishing resistant and is no longer available for new users. Existing users will be asked to transition to a passkey.
