UWinsite Service - Oracle Client Cloud Access

All requests for staff access to UWinsite Service, also known as Ask.UWindsor, are to be submitted by opening a ticket.

Installation Instructions

Once access is granted, follow these steps to install the client software:

• Launch Microsoft Edge browser
• Go to https://ask.uwindsor.ca/cgi-bin/uwindsor.cfg/php/admin/launch.php 
• Click Install Oracle Service Cloud. This will launch the installer that will require no interaction.

Note that only Microsoft Edge browser can be used with .NET version 4.7.1 or higher installed on the computer. No other browser will work to initiate the installer. The client is not compatible with macOS.

Note:  The password for this application is completely separate from your uwinid.
