Self-directed Learning (LinkedIn Learning)

LinkedIn Learning is an online platform that helps anyone learn business, software, technology and creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals. It contains a video library of courses taught by recognized industry experts.

Who can use this service?

As of September 21, 2020, the Province of Ontario is no longer funding LinkedIn Learning for faculty, staff, or students. Only those departments who have purchased licenses for their faculty, staff or students will have access to LinkedIn Learning.

How to access this service?

If you have a LinkedIn Learning license through UWindsor, go to uwindsor.ca/linkedinlearning and sign in with your UWinID@uwindsor.ca and your UWin Account password.  Individuals with Windsor Public Library or Essex County Library cards may access Lynda.com.

This will bring up a form that you will need to fill-out and submit to open a support ticket with the I.T. Service Desk.
