The Finance department has developed an Online Purchasing Card Training module. All cardholders are required to successfully complete this training.The finance department also offers a training session "Finance Essentials: Understanding Our Credit Card Programs."
The Finance Department offers online and in-class training for the Purchasing Card program and its cardholders.
In Class Training
This is usually done annually through the Professional Development office and we offer 3 - 5 sessions each year based on the demand. These are open to the entire University and each participant is required to register for the training. Please visit the Professional Development Opportunities website for details on this training and for a link to register.
Online Training
The Finance department has developed an Online Purchasing Card Training module. All cardholders are required to successfully complete the training program before they can:
- Sign-up for a new Purchasing Card; or
- Renew their current Purchasing Card.
Cardholders are required to participate in the training program and apply the Purchasing Card Guidelines when using their card on a day to day basis.

The link to the quiz can be found on the last page of the Training Guide. You can also access the online quiz by clicking on the link below. After successful completion of the quiz, you will receive an email certificate. Please keep this email certificate for your records.
