The serial number of any asset purchased at a cost of $2,500 or more will be recorded in the University’s fixed asset ledger.
For purchases below this amount, the campus community member should retain their own records of serial numbers.
We note that there is a request to include this as a field in the receiving process, and we will make this request for a future update to our system.
