UWin Gmail

All students at the University of Windsor have personalised UWin Gmail accounts. To access your student mailbox, please visit uwindsor.ca/uwingmail  and sign in with your UWin ID. All students must use the University of Windsor e-mail system for all official communications with the University (see E-mail Policy 2006 for more details).

The UWin Gmail service provides students with:

  • @uwindsor.ca e-mail address
  • 25 GB mailbox
  • additional storage space on Google Drive
  • a familiar web-based e-mail interface that includes a calendar, and contacts
  • Google Apps and Google Talk Instant Messenger

It is important to know that:

  • all incoming and outgoing e-mail goes through University e-mail gateway and spam filter (PureMessage)
  • University of Windsor maintains ownership of data
  • there will be no advertising or data mining of the student mailboxes by Google
  • branding for the service is both UWindsor and Google

NOTE: This service is only available to students and alumni. Faculty and staff are not eligible for UWin Gmail accounts.
