Listserv

A Listserv is a method of communicating with a group of people via e-mail. When an e-mail message is sent to the e-mail address associated with a group of users known as a list, the Listserv server re-sends that e-mail message to all of the list’s subscribers. Each list is managed by the list's designated administrator who can subscribe and unsubscribe users. Uesers often also have the ability to subscribe and unsubscribe themselves.

I.T Services maintains a Listserv that can be used by faculty to disseminate information to subscribers.However, please keep in mind that this is is an old technology that is around since the 80's. There are several other tools, such as Office 365 Groups, that now offer this same functionality with the addition of modern user interface and other useful features.

Requesting Assistance

This will bring up a form that you will need to fill-out and submit to open a support ticket with the I.T. Service Desk. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the ticket reference number and additional instructions.
