Access to UWinsite Student

University of Windsor is committed to protecting students privacy and safeguarding all personal and financial information.

Requesting Access

New employees, staff who have changed positions or those requesting a modification to their current access to UWinsite Student can submit their request by opening a ticket. Each ticket must have a completed authorization form attached to ensure processing is complete (see Files section on the right). Processing of this request may take 3 to 5 business days.

Before you proceed to open a ticket:  

  • Print, complete and sign the form provided on this page (see Files section on the right);
  • Get signed authorization by your immediate supervisor, department head or Dean;
  • Scan and save as PDF file.

Once that part is completed, please proceed to open a ticket and upload the completed form to this ticket.

Reporting an Access Issue

Existing users of UWinsite Student system who experience access-related issues or barriers can submit their request for assistance by opening a ticket. Each ticket will be investigated to determine the root cause of the problem. In those cases that result in a request for new or modified access, users will be required to complete and submit an authorization form. Processing of this request may take 24-48 hours.

Requesting Assistance

To submit your access request or to report an access-related issue, please click on the Open Ticket button on the right. This will bring up a form that you will need to fill out and submit to open a support ticket with the Service Desk. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the ticket reference number and additional instructions.
