Facility Services department has its own ticketing app in TeamDynamix. It includes a service / ticket type with the workflow for submitting and facilitating contractor key requests.
Submitting Ticket Request
To submit a new ticket request :
- Launch Microsoft Edge browser (or other browser) and navigate to uwindsor.ca/help
- Click on Sign In link in the to right corner and sign-in with your UWin ID and password
- Click on Services on the menu ribbon
- Scroll down the list of categories and click on Facility Services category to open it
- Click on Key Control
- Click on Open Ticket
- Fill out required fields and click on Submit
Once the ticket is submitted, the person responsible for it as well as designated reviewers will be notified via e-mail and the workflow will be be automatically activated.
Working with Submitted Tickets
To access submitted tickets and reports, you have to sign in to TeamDynamix Users interface:
- Launch Microsoft Edge browser (or other browser) and navigate to uwindsor.ca/tdx
- Click on Users icon
- Sign-in with your UWin ID and password
- Click on the Applications Menu (waffle icon) and open one of these app/modules:
- Facilities Tickets - to see all submitted tickets and ticket reports
- My Work - to see all tickets and tasks assigned to you and manage your work queue
- Desktop - to access dashboards
Workflow
Once the ticket is submitted, the workflow will be be automatically activated. As the ticket moves through each step in the workflow, user(s) responsible for the next step will be notified through e-mail. They will need to mark their task as completed to advance the workflow to the next step. Once all workflow tasks are completed, the ticket status will automatically change to Resolved.
