Body
If you see a message "Your company hasn't made any apps available to you on this device" or "You don't have any apps yet" it could either mean means that
- you did not identify your current device on the Company Portal website, or
- your current device is not compliant (i.e.does not meet minimum requirements as defined in the device compliance policy)
Company Portal Website
If you are using a web version of the Company Portal app, you need to properly identify your device:
- Go to https://portal.manage.microsoft.com, and then log in by using your Microsoft Work Account (UWin Account) account. You may see something like this:
-
Click on Devices.
-
On the next screen, click on Add this one by taping here.
-
On the next screen, select your device.
-
You're returned to My Devices. The device should show a green check, as shown in the following screenshot.
-
Return to the Apps screen. The applications should now be visible.
Device Compliance
Your device will be marked as not compliant if it is either:
- Not enrolled in Intune device management. All University computers have to be joined to azure Active Directory and enrolled in Intune.
- Missing some Windows updates or needs a reboot after installing updates. To be compliant, each device must have recent Windows feature and quality monthly updates installed.
- Missing adequate virus and/or malware protection.
- The firewall is not enabled.
To find out which requirement of the compliance policy is not met on your device:
-
Launch Company Portal app that should already be preinstalled on your work computer or go to University of Windsor Intune Company Portal (https://portal.manage.microsoft.com) and sign in with your UWin Account (Microsoft work or school account), if prompted.
-
Click on Devices.
-
Review the list of devices that are registered under your name and ensure that the computer you are using is on this list. If it is not, you will need to register it, if it is a personal computer that you are using for work (BYOD), or have it joined to Azure AD, if it is your work computer. Your current device should have a label "THIS DEVICE" and under the icon representing it should say "Can access company resources," if your device is in full compliance.
-
Click on the icon representing your device to see more details. If your device is not compliant, you will see information on which of the conditions listed above is not met. You can also click on Check access button to force a refresh of conditional access policies and status. Note that this may take up to 10-15 minutes and may require a reboot.
