How Do I Add Lieu Time as a Full-Time Employee?

An employee can enter lieu time to be approved by their manager in UWinsite People per their collective agreement or if they are a professional in the Manager and Professionals group. 

NOTE: If you are a Full-Time Permanent Employee and want to record exception time - overtime please follow these instructions: How to Record Exception Time

In your browser, go to UWinsite People page. Complete your single sign-on in UWinsite People using your full UWinID@uwindsor.ca as your username and your UWin Account password. Then:

  1. In Me, select Time and Absence.
  2. Select Existing Time Card
  3. Select the ellipsis and select Edit from the drop-down menu for the timecard period entry you would like to amend. 
  4. To insert a row on a timecard, you can simply right click on the timecard and can select an option to add or remove a row as needed; or comments as needed
  5. Enter the Payroll Time Type - Lieu Time in the table.
  6. Enter the appropriate Start and Stop times on the date the Lieu Time was worked, and repeat for any additional dates
  7. Review the dates/times/hours you have added. If you are ready to submit, select Submit.
  8. You can view it using the View Calculated Times option once the changes are saved.

Note: Only timecards in submitted status are routed to your manager for approval
