What is the maximum size for an e-mail message with attachments?

The maximum e-mail message size (including all attachments) that can be sent through the University e-mail systems is 35 MB (megabytes). This limit is imposed by Microsoft and cannot be increased. E-mail service in general is not optimised for sharing of large files. We have other tools and services in place for that. Sending large files through e-mail has a negative impact on the performance of the servers and network which affects all users. If you need to share files that are large in size, e-mail is not the best tool for that.
