Objective
Configure Windows Hello for Business as an authentication method on a University-managed Windows device.
Environment
- University-managed Windows devices
- Intune-enrolled devices
- TPM 2.0-enabled hardware
Procedure
Most university and grant-funded PCs will be pre-configured with Windows Hello for Business. If yours is not, follow these steps:
- Open Windows Settings
- Select Accounts
- Select Sign-in options
- Click on Windows Hello PIN
- Enter a numeric code at least 6 and no more that 12 digits long.
The next time you open your computer you will be prompted to sign in using your Windows Hello PIN.
