In the coming weeks, Monsido Web Governance Tool is gradually rolling out to UWindsor staff members tasked with managing or editing content on the University’s website.
It is a versatile web governance tool that empowers our staff to maintain a high-quality online presence. It offers website statistics and a range of features to enhance the website including:
1. Accessibility Enhancement Remediation: Monsido's Accessibility Scanner helps ensure the website is inclusive, identifying and addressing issues that might hinder access for individuals with disabilities.
2. Content Quality Control: the content analysis tools highlight broken links, misspellings, and outdated content, making it easier to keep the website error-free and up-to-date.
3. Search Engine Optimization: helps improve the website's search engine rankings, ensuring it remains easily discoverable to prospective students and stakeholders.
The IT Services web team has been working on the project for a few months and continues expanding the Monsido functionality within the site. Early users may notice changes as the implementation moves forward.
