It is sometimes necessary to check the version of the GlobalProtect VPN client that is installed on a device. This article shows how to check the version number.
Display the GlobalProtect version
On all devices using GlobalProtect, the version number is available within the GlobalProtect application.
- Click on the GlobalProtect icon in the system tray.
- Click on the Menu button (three horizontal lines)
- Click About.
If About is not available, click on Settings and then click on About.
- Information about GlobalProtect will be displayed, including the version number.
On newer versions of GlobalProtect, after clicking Settings and then About, the following will be displayed:
