In your browser, go to UWinsite People page. Complete your single sign-on in UWinsite People using your full UWinID@uwindsor.ca as your username and your UWin Account password. Then:
- In Me, navigate to Quick Actions menu, scroll down and select Show More.
- Go to Pay section, then select Tax Credit Information.
- Edit Your Tax Forms - you will see two sections: Federal and Provincial. To make changes, select the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the relevant section.
- Provincial (TD1ON)
- To update your claim amount: In the "Total Claim Amount" field, enter the value from Line 10 of your most recent provincial TD1ON form.
- If this is a secondary employer: If your basic personal amount is already being claimed by another employer, enter $0 in the "Total Claim Amount" field.
- Federal (TD1 & TD1X)
- To update your claim amount: In the "Total Claim Amount" field, enter the value from Line 13 of your most recent federal TD1 form.
- If this is a secondary employer: If your basic personal amount is already being claimed by another employer, enter $0 in the "Total Claim Amount" field.
- To deduct additional tax: If you want to have extra income tax deducted from each paycheque, enter the specific dollar amount in the "Additional Tax" field.
- Save Your Changes
- After making all your changes in a section, carefully review them for accuracy.
- Select the “I agree” box to confirm and submit your updates.
