Yes. There will be a higher level of security within the new system. Instructors first need to be entered in the HR database, VIP, before they can be passed to UWinsite Student and added to a course. This process could cause a time delay. Also, all departments need to be added to the instructor in case they teach a course that is ‘owned’ by another department.
