Blackboard is the Learning Management System (LMS) that the University of Windsor supports. It is a robust system with several communication tools including Announcements, Discussions, and a Virtual Classroom called Blackboard Collaborate Ultra; multiple assessment options such as Tests and Assignments; and interactive tools including Journals, Blogs, Discussions and Wiki.

Request for access to single or multiple Blackboard sites for Faculty, Administration and Staff Only.
NOTE: This form is not meant to be completed by students seeking access to their registered courses’ Blackboard sites as the visibility of those sites are controlled by the instructors. Launched November 2018, UWinsite Student is the University of Windsor’s student information platform that replaced the legacy Student Information System commonly known on campus as SIS, Forte, or myUWindsor.ca. Used primarily by students, faculty and staff, UWinsite Student also serves applicants and alumni.

The Scantron software and hardware is used for Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET). An on-line service request form for your departmental submission must be filled out prior to coming to Operations Service Counter.

UWin Gmail legacy e-mail system for students is in process of being phased out. The tentative target date for the end of service is April 2022. As of January 2020, all incoming students are being provisioned with Office 365 / Outlook e-mail account instead of UWinGmail account. All users with UWin Gmail accounts in good standing have been migrated to Microsoft 365 / Outlook in Summer 2020. Accounts that were not in good standing as of Nov 2020 have been disabled.

Microsoft Office 365 is a productivity, collaboration, and messaging platform. All faculty, staff and students are required to use University e-mail account for all official University business/school related correspondence. Students will be migrated from UWin Gmail to Office 365 / Outlook by Sept 2020.

LinkedIn Learning is an online platform that helps anyone learn business, software, technology and creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals. It is accessible to faculty, staff or students whose departments who have purchased licenses.

GoPrint pay-per-use printing stations are available in public areas, such as UCC Student Launge, Leddy Library, and selected computer labs on campus. This service is accessed with your UWin Card.

TeamDynamix (TDX) app is used by I.T. Services, Finance and a few other departments for project management, asset management, and issue/request tracking through tickets submitted by faculty, staff and students on this self-service portal.

The SoCA Safety Training site is used by the School of Creative Arts to ensure that students are trained on the safe use of machines and tools found in the SoCA workshops before they granted access to those workshops.
