Reviewing how well students are meeting learning outcomes

To see how students are doing in meeting the learning outcomes you have aligned with your course assessments, there are two tools to provide you with some insight, Mastery View and Class Progress.

The Grade book Mastery View

Once you have added outcomes to your course, the Mastery View button will be visible in the Grades tool. But you must set an achievement scale and align outcomes to assessments in order for the Mastery View spreadsheet to appear.

It will provide the list of your students, a column for each of the learning outcomes aligned to an assessment, and a visual display (with writing and colour) of each student’s level of mastery of each outcome.
