Why does my salary in myUWinfo not match my actual earnings from UWindsor?

The Salary record in myUWinfo is the annual salary amount (12 months).

The following are examples (but not limited to) why your actual earnings may vary from the Salary record:

  • You are on a leave of absence (ie. maternity, parental, reduced responsibility, sabbatical, modified work hours, reduced illness, etc.)
  • You are paid by a premium allowance or limited term contract
  • You are paid an additional stipend amount
  • Your appointment may be for less than 12 months (ie. Sessional Lecturer 8 month appointments, seasonal appointments)

 

Why would my salary be 0?

The Salary record in myUWinfo is the annual salary amount (12 months).

A Salary record of $0 indicates that you are not paid through the Salary record.

The following are examples but are not limited to:

  • You are paid by a premium allowance or limited term contract (ie. Sessional & Special Instructors, Grant appointments, Student contracts)
  • You are paid by a time card
  • You have a secondary position that is temporary part time
