As a Departmental Attendance Administrator or a Departmental Attendance Approver, you can grant someone in your area to access to be an alternate Departmental Attendance Administrator.
To do this follow the instructions below:
On the Administration Panel, Select Administration
On the user Management Panel, select PEOPLE
Scroll down the list of employees until you find the individual you are looking for. Then click the EDIT RECORD button
Change the individual's Role to 'Manages All Entrires'
Note: Changes to the primary Departmental Attendance Administrator should be also be requested by emailing hrattendance@uwindsor.ca. This is important in order for the primary Departmental Attendance Administrator to get notifications and reports.
You can also give an individual outside the department to be an alternate Departmental Attendance Administrator.
To do this you.
On the Administration Panel, Select Administration
On the user Management Panel, select PEOPLE
Click the ADD EXTERNAL ADMINISTRATOR button
Then Search for the person you wish to give access to
Select the person and then click 'YES'
Note: All Attendance administrator can done pretty much the same functions.
The difference between then is:
Primary Departmental Attendance Administrator - Recorded in HR and will receive submission notifications and reports from HR. Essentially the primary contact for HR in your department for attendance related things,
Additional Departmental Attendance Administrator - Someone in the same department, setup by you for backup or cross area coverage
External Departmental Attendance Administrator - Someone in the in another department, setup by you for backup or cross area coverage
