Sometimes a GlobalProtect VPN connection goes stale and stops working. When this occurs, GlobalProtect may report that it is connected, but you may be unable to access resources that require VPN access. You can remedy this situation by refreshing the GlobalProtect session.
Follow these steps to refresh the connection by quickly disconnecting and reconnecting to the VPN.
1. Find the GlobalProctect VPN icon in your system tray.
2. Click the three bars (hamburger) menu.
3. Click Refresh Connection.
