How to Edit a Payroll Timecard (Saved, Submitted, Approved, or Rejected)

From time to time you may need to update a time card. Follow the steps to complete the task.

In your browser, go to UWinsite People page. Complete your single sign-on in UWinsite People using your full UWinID@uwindsor.ca as your username and your UWin Account password. Then:  

  1. Under Me, select the Time and Absences.
  2. Select Existing Time Cards.
  3. Clear the filter selection for the current Time Period (default) to view all existing Timecard entries.

  1. Select the ellipsis, and select Edit from the drop-down menu for the timecard period entry you would like to amend. 
  2. Enter the appropriate Start and Stop Times for the dates you want to edit. You can also right-click on the row to add or insert new rows; add comments as needed. 
  3. Once you are done with your changes, click on Submit or Save and Close – as needed. 
  4. You can view further details of your changes using the View Time Totals and View Calculated Time options.

Note: Only time cards in submitted status are routed to your manager for approval. 

This can only be done for up to 28 days after the pay period, after that your manager will have to update it.
