Objective
To check which version of Smart View you have installed
Environment
Oracle Smart View for Office is a free plug-in for Microsoft Excel that enable users to integrate enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise performance management (EPM), and business intelligence (BI) data directly from the source.
Procedure
- Open Excel.
- Click on the Smart View → Help → About(z) to bring up the Oracle Smart View for Office screen and note the version number:
- Click OK to close (keep Enable Add-in checked).
- Search for “current version of oracle smart view” in Google or your preferred search engine and check it against your installed version.
- If your currently installed version is not the latest version, follow the instructions in How to install the latest version of Oracle Smart View.
