Network Connectivity

All buildings on campus are connected to the University's wired network. Network jacks are generally available in all offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, lecture halls, labs, as well in some public areas (hallways, open space, etc.). Not all of the network jacks are active. If you encounter a network jack that is not active, you can submit a service request ticket to have it activated.

Wireless (WiFi) network access is available throughout the University campus, and selected off-campus locations. Each user requires an active UWin Account in order to sign-in to University wireless network.

A sponsored guest of the University can be provided temporary access to the campus wireless network for a period of ten days. University of Windsor faculty and staff members may create a guest wireless UWin Account by filling-out and submitting an on-line request form:

To request assistance with network and Internet access related issues, please click Open Ticket button on the right. This will bring up a form that you will need to fill-out and submit to open a support ticket with the I.T. Service Desk. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the ticket reference number and additional instructions.
