Restoring Deleted Files

If you accidentally delete a file or folder in OneDrive, you may can recover it from the OneDrive recycle bin. Deleted items stay in recycle bin for 30 days or until user manually empties recycle bin (not recommended). To recover deleted file:

  1. Sign in to https://portal.office.com
  2. Click on OneDrive icon
  3. Click on Recycle bin on the left
  4. Select file or files that you need to restore
  5. Click on Restore button on the top
