Outlook has a security feature which by default is configured not to load any embedded images in HTML e-mail messages received from outside of Office 365 domain.
Adding Senders to Safe Senders List
In order to add a particular sender to the list of Safe Senders so that images from that sender will start loading automatically:
- Open the e-mail message that does did not load images automatically.
- Right-click on the blue ribbon area below the subject line where it says "Click here to download pictures. To help protect your privacy...."
- Select Add sender to Safe Senders List form the pop-up menu, as shown below:

Editing Safe Senders List
You can also add addresses and domains by editing your Safe Senders List directly:
- Click on the Junk icon in the "Delete" section on the menu ribbon, and select Junk Mail Options. This will bring up a dialogue box.

- Click on Safe Senders tab.
- Click on Add button.
- Enter an e-mail address or Internet domain to be added to the list. For example: @pmi.org
- Click OK, then OK again.
