Outstanding Scholars Workflow: Approving Projects for Department Heads and Coordinator

Approving or Rejecting Project Proposals

When a faculty member submits an Outstanding Scholars project proposal, it is sent to their department head and then to the Outstanding Scholars coordinator for approval. This request is sent in an email like in the image below.

Clicking the URL after "Link" will bring you to the project details which you can review before selecting your decision. Selecting Approve or Reject allows you to add details which will be saved to the project proposal.

The Outstanding Scholars SharePoint site will be used by Faculty to submit project proposals. Students will use the site to submit a contract request to work on one of these approved projects.
As a faculty member, you may submit new project proposals for the Outstanding Scholars program through the Outstanding Scholars SharePoint site.
