Unenrolling BYOD MacOS Devices from Intune

If you desire to remove your Mac from Intune enrollment, follow the steps outlined bellow.

  1. Sign in to the device using your local admin account (usually the account you normally sign in to)
  2. Once signed in, open the Company Portal application

    Note: If Company Portal is not in the dock, at the top click "Go" > Applications > Company Portal
  3. Click Sign in

     
  4. Sign in using <your_uwinid>@uwindsor.ca and current password
  5. Once signed in, Click devices

     
  6. Click the device you are using (the one you wish to remove from Intune). Once selected, it should say "This is the device you are currently using" under the device name.
     
  7. Click the 3 dots to the right of the device name

     
  8. Click "Remove"
  9. On the following screen click "remove" again
