How to Edit an Approved Employee Payroll Timecard as a Manager

In your browser, go to uwindsor.ca/uwinsite/people. After you complete your single sign-on in UWinsite People using your full UWinID@uwindsor.ca as your username and your UWin Account password. Then:

  1. On your homepage, navigate to My Team, select Quick Actions and select Show More.
  2. Under Time, select Team Time Cards
  3. Under Time Cards select the time card you would like to amend. If you do not immediately see the time card you are looking for, you can search for a person by typing their name into the search box. You may need to remove the filters by selecting the x beside them to show more time cards 
  4. Alternatively, you can select Show Filters - under Time Card Period, select Current Period (or the period for which you need to edit the time card), and under Status, select Approved
  5. Open the approved time card you would like to edit, and under view by select Reported details by entry date
  6.  Click the pencil beside the entry you would like to edit.
  7. Edit the Time Reporting Code, Position, Start Time or End Time
  8. Select OK. Repeat steps 6 and 7 above for any other entries that need to be edited.
  9. Select + Add if you need to add additional time entries
  10. When all edits have been completed, select Submit.
  11. Now you need to approve the edits you made to the time card. Select the Notification.
  12. Under Action Required for the request you are reviewing, select the link in notification to open the request to review. This will open a pop-up window(ensure your notification pop-up option is enabled) that lists the details of the request.
  13. To approve the request, select Approve.
