Having IT Services move your files from OneDrive or SharePoint into UWin Files is the recommended and most convenient approach to getting started.

Submit your request for a new UWin Files network folder (or, using the same form, request help moving files into an existing folder).

On the request, indicate the location (single folder) in your OneDrive or SharePoint collection that represents the research you want to move. For example, your OneDrive might contain a folder called “Project X” within your “Research Projects” folder. Your OneDrive or SharePoint will be temporarily shared with the group “ZO365 - Access - OneDrive UwinFiles Migration Team”.

A system administrator will notify you of the date and time when the file copying will start through an update in the service request. Do not modify files after that time.

When the transfer to UWin Files is complete, the system administrator will send a verification message to you via the Team Dynamix service request.

Check to ensure all your data has been properly transferred. Once you confirm the transfer is complete, material will be removed from its previous home on OneDrive or SharePoint and the system administrator will cancel their access to your files.
