Connecting your Windows 7 computer to EDUROAM wireless network..

The EDUROAM wireless network is the preferred wireless connection for students and alumni at the University of Windsor. Follow these steps to configure your laptop running Windows 7 to connect to EDUROAM wireless network:

1. Click on the windows wireless network manager in the bottom right corner of the desktop (circled in red in the picture below) and then proceed to click on 'eduroam' and click connect

2. Windows should then prompt you for your credentials, input your UWindsor email and PASSWORD and click 'OK'

 

3. Windows will then prompt you with a security alert stating 'connection could not be completed' at this screen click 'Connect'

 

4. Once windows establishes a connection (may take a minute to authenticate) it will then prompt you asking what location type the connection is, select PUBLIC Network' and you should then be connected to eduroam wireless.

 

5. To make sure that you are connected, click on the  network manager icon in the bottom right corner of the screen again and it should say whether you are connected to eduroam
