IT Services provides assistance with printing issues in this service for:

  • Local desktop printers (connected to a computer via USB)
  • Shared networked printers 

IT Services recommends faculty and staff members use their departmental Xerox Multifunction Device (MFD).

The Xerox MFDs offer the most cost-effective method of printing on campus. In addition, with print release functionality, they also provide a secure printing option. Many Xerox MFD supplies as well as repairs are also covered by Xerox under its fleet agreement with the University of Windsor.

For all inquiries related to local desktop printers and networked printers (excluding Xerox's and GoPrint), please click Open Ticket button on the right. This will bring up a form that you will need to fill-out and submit to open a support ticket with the I.T. Service Desk. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the ticket reference number and additional instructions.
