How Do I Add Lieu Time as a Full-Time Employee?

An employee can enter lieu time to be approved by their manager in UWinsite People per their collective agreement or if they are a professional in the Manager and Professionals group. 

NOTE: If you are a Full-Time Permanent Employee and want to record exception time - overtime please follow these instructions: How to Record Exception Time

In your browser, go to uwindsor.ca/uwinsite/people. Complete your single sign-on in UWinsite People using your full UWinID@uwindsor.ca as your username and your UWin Account password. Then:   

  1. In Me, select Time and Absence

  1. Select Current Timecard (if it's a past pay period, select Existing Time Card) if you are adding time to the current one. If it is past lieu time that needs to be added, use your Existing Timecards. 

  1. Select +Add.  

  1. In Payroll Time Type, enter appropriate Time Type - Bank Time (Lieu Time, or for Unifor 444 Banked Overtime, Banked Holiday, Unifor 2458 Engineers Banked Holiday) 

  1. Enter Select Dates, here you can select whichever days you need as long a Add the Start and End Time, are same. It will show you how many days you have selected. If you need to add more lieu, repeat the steps. 

  1. Select Ok

  1. Select Submit

Only time cards in submitted status are routed to your manager for approval.
