How To Use the Brightspace Locker Tool for Groups

Although most students have found ways to share documents among their fellow group members when working on group projects, Brightspace provides the Locker as a space within Brightspace where the students can store small files and share them with their group members.  For the locker to be available to a group, it must be enabled by the instructor during the process of creating groups. These instructions are for instructors:

  1. Click Course Tools in the course Navbar and select Groups.
  2. Click New Category.

  2. Click Save to complete creating the group category and to set up a locker for each group. Students will be able to access the groups locker through the Groups tool by selecting the locker under the Locker column.
