Office & Residence Telephone Service

I.T. Services provides telephone services to all locations on campus, and selected off campus locations, including connecting new lines and extensions, moving existing lines, installing or repairing phone jacks, long distance codes, etc. There is a fee associated with some of the services.


Basic services

Activation of voice mail


Activation of automatic call distribution


Names changes and directory updates


Voicemail password reset

Installation or relocation of telephone/fax lines and /or alarms

New installations with existing jack/cable

$65.00 per user

New jack/cable run (voice/data)

$150.00 per hour

New user without existing phone



Moving on campus

Moving user when phone exists


Moving user when no phones exists




All projects are quotable and fall under Facility Services. Project administrators should contact Telecommunications at ext.5555 to ensure budget covers costs. Typical costs are associated with moves of telephone extensions ($65.00 per extension) and new telephone extensions ($200.00 per extension)
