Cortex XDR is the campus approved endpoint protection (AEP) anti-virus solution. If an alert is received from Cortex about malware, a blocked program, or suspicious activity on a device, it can be reported here. You can also request replacement of old anti-virus (e.g Sentinel ONE or Sophos Endpoint Protection) with Cortex XDR.

If you are reporting a message that has popped up on your device, please provide the following information:

  • The name of the device the message appeared on
  • A screenshot of the error if possible
  • What you were doing at the time the message appeared, for instance what program you were trying to run
  • What time the error occurred

It is very important to include the device in this Service Request. If you do not know the name of your device, the articles linked below will help you find it.

Once you have collected as much information as possible, please open a ticket using the Open Ticket button on the right. This will bring up a form that you will need to fill out and submit to open a support ticket with the I.T. Service Desk. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the ticket reference number and additional instructions.
